GTA 6 on PS5 Is a 212GB Download, Spectrum Offers Free Speed Boost

Grand Theft Auto 6 launches on November 19 with a file size of 212GB, making it one of the largest downloads PlayStation owners have had to deal with.

Internet provider Spectrum is using the moment to promote its own services, giving members a free "Gig Speed Lift" during November. The offer runs November 9-30 and, according to the company, comes with no cost and no strings attached.

For players on slower connections, the boost could shave meaningful time off what is otherwise a very long download for Rockstar's next open-world game.
