How the upgrade works
According to GameSpot, the process is easy: purchase the $80 edition at launch, and if you later decide you want the additional content of the $100 version, you buy the $20 Ultimate Edition Upgrade. This brings your total spending to the same $100 you would have paid upfront, so there is no penalty for starting with the base version and upgrading later.
